A community development in Western Sydney by Lendlease, Jordan Springs features 900 hectares of parklands and open space.

Street Furniture Australia was invited by Penrith City Council, Clouston Associates and Lendlease to furnish the local parks and streetscapes.

Melaleuca Park and Lake

Clouston Associates has designed the Melaleuca playground and lakeside open public spaces for the Jordan Springs Estate.

The playground is sited in the shade of a mature spotted gum forest, preserving the natural landscape character of the Cumberland Plain Woodland. Created with designer Ric McConaghy, it features sculptured play elements – an emu slide, cicada totems, tree houses, trampolines, swings, water play and climbing nets.

Arc Seats with tailored modwood battens and painted 2pac Black Orbit frames, Mall DDA SeatsBenches and Mall Settings with Slim Benches provide places to rest and reflect.

 

Jordan Springs Community Hub

Penrith City Council and Lendlease collaborated in the design of the Jordan Springs Community Hub. The building is a multifunctional space for group meetings and activities.

Mall Benches with Elliptical Arms feature eco-certified Jarrah hardwood battens and Palladium Silver frames.

 

Livvi’s Place Jordan Springs

Designed in consultation with local children, people with disabilities and their families and carers, local schools and academics, Livvi’s Place is an inclusive play space that enables children of all ages and abilities to play side-by-side using the same equipment.

The Jordan Springs playground is the first inclusive play space to be built by Lendlease.

Mall Tables with Slim Benches, and Mall DDA Seats, provide places for storytime, picnics and watching the kids play. They feature tailored modwood battens and painted 2pac Black Orbit frames.
