A state of the art covered bowling green with adjacent raised concourse for dining has opened to community fanfare at Club Sunbury in Victoria.
Rubicon Design and Construct delivered the project, specifying 29 tailored Aria 3-seaters with Jarrah hardwood battens and Textura Monument frames.
To keep the area tidy, 12 Plato Bins are spaced out around the green, with aluminium anodised fluted bodies.
“It was terrific to join the Board of Directors, Cr Geoff Porter and local residents at the opening of the outstanding all weather, covered bowling green,” said Josh Bull, MP for Sunbury.
“This is a great new facility for our community and sure to provide many great times ahead.”
The redevelopment includes Al Fresco Cafe style dining and relaxing lounge areas, overlooking the carpeted bowling green.
The Aria Seats furnish the synthetic green, under a roof of white sails, to provide comfort for bowls players in all seasons.
